Colonization in Morocco

Morocco's colonization came in a bit too rough. In the late 1900s, southern Morocco was conquered by the french, and northern Morocco by the Spanish. The country was unable to act because they had economic difficulties to deal with. The flood of european products in the marketplace was one factor of those difficulties. The sultan's brother, revolted against the government. 1909, the sultan's brother was succesful, but their problems were far from over. The spanish troops began making their way into morocco.
