Why Study History?

Alot of people ask that question don't they? Are you looking for a good reply? You've come to the right place! History, what if people didn't learn from their past? Would we still be silly cavemen living in caves and huts? We would be repeating the same mistakes our ancestors did, we would also lose alot of knowledge about evolution if out ancestors haven't drawn them, wrote about them (in their own WIERD language). We would never know how the earlier species acted, what they ate, what was needed to do to calm them down. The worst part is: the people who's ancestors migrated from one land to another so many years ago would never discover their origin unless it was recorded. One way history helped me was that it opened my eyes to how cruel Christopher Columbus really was and what he did to the native americans who lived there.
